The Trailblazer Scholarship Award
The Trailblazer Scholarship Award is offered annually
to deserving individuals as a symbolic gesture of the Houston Association of Panamanians' commitment to the promotion
of higher learning among the citizenry of Houston, as well as the people of the Republic of Panama.
A scholarship
fund is established for the purpose of offering financial assistance to those deservingly selected individuals, who seek develop
or improve personal skills and talents which will allow them to become positive and self-sufficient contributors to an evolving
global socio-economic system of which we all form a part.
Monetary contributions are accepted from individuals,
businesses, or organizations on a continuous, year round basis; either by direct online deposits, or by mailing your financial
support to the address below:

Financial contributors
to the scholarship fund are eligible for a tax deductible certificate issued by the association.
Scholarship applications
are available on this website, by clicking on the link below. You may also obtain an application by
contacting any member of the association by phone or regular mail. Applications must be submitted annually by the
middle of July. Scholarship Award recipients will normally be announced before the Fall Semester of each academic
year.
